Woodbridge resident Balmore Alexander Ortiz Guardado, 35, has been charged with rape and distribution of narcotics to a minor following a near monthlong investigation into accusations of sexual abuse, according to police on Friday, March 10.
It is alleged that on Friday, Feb. 17, detectives from the Prince William County Police Department’s Special Victims Bureau launched a probe into a reported sexual assault that was reported in the 13200 block of Nassau Drive in Woodbridge.
The alleged assaults happened between June and October last year, according to investigators.
According to police, it was determined that the minor victim went to Ortiz Guardado’s Woodbridge home, where she was sexually assaulted after being provided with illegal narcotics.
Following the investigation, arrest warrants were issued for Ortiz Guardado, who was already in custody on a separate charge, who has since been charged.
